The Fat Bastards Society’s (TFBS) – Men in Kilts – Progressive Lunch for Charity 

A Progressive lunch in and around center city Philadelphia, honoring national Tartan Day and raising money for charity!

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – on Thursday April 6th, 2023 – The TFBS will be celebrating our 6th annual Men in Kilts Progressive Lunch for charity. 11:30 am until 6:30 pm this year in support of Philadelphia’s Hero Thrill Show.

Taking a day off from work, wearing Highland Dress and making our rounds from bars to restaurants and restaurants to bars in and around the center of Philadelphia. 

this year TFBS’s Men In Kilts pays homage to National Tartan Day while raising money for this year’s charity of choice: The Hero Thrill Show; whose singular aim is to pay for the college tuition of children of Philadelphia Police Officers and/or Firefighters killed in the line of duty.

TFBS is a fledgling charity organization, soon to be a 501c, comprised of decedents of Scots and their like-mined friends, willing to support philanthropic endeavors and other charitable causes while at the same time honoring our Scottish roots and recognizing the outstanding achievements and contributions made by Scottish Americans to the United States.  

You don’t need to be a Scot to attend but you should in Highland Dress or you’ll be all out of kilter!
