Tattoo
Chief and Family are the guests of honor. The Buchanan will provide the opening for this event.
Clan Buchanan has been asked to fire our Cohorn Mortar (as the event doesn't have a cannon). Tattoos start after the firing of a cannon (or so we’re told).
Saturday
Chief's Tent: BBC Documentary "Meet the Buchanan's" running on a loop and The Buchanan will speak at 10am and 2pm on his journey to become a chief.
Opening Ceremonies: Buchanan's are the honored Clan
Ceilidh: At Lady Buchanan's request, we will play a significant role in this event. Our Clan tent will open for hospitality.
We have sourced a Celtic band to perform live music.
The Phoenix Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) will be holding lessons at different times at their tent on Saturday.
As there will be approximately 2,000 people present in the evening, RSCDS will assist the audience with the lessons while Paula and the Cadets present from the event stage.
Sunday
Chief's Tent: BBC Documentary "Meet the Buchanan's" running on a loop and The Buchanan will speak at 10am and 2pm on his journey to become a chief.
Calling of the Clans: The Buchanan will speak at this event.
The Buchanan will have a 20x20 tent for the event and CBSI will have four 10x10 tents.
